Atradius Earns Best Trade Credit Underwriter at the 2026 TTP Awards Gala

Atradius has been recognized as the Best Trade Credit Underwriter at the 2026 TTP Awards Gala on February 5th. The award underscores Atradius’s leadership in underwriting innovation, digitalization, and global trade risk management. Atradius was honored alongside other leading organizations, including Bank of America, Marsh, ING, and Wells Fargo.

The award was determined by a panel of independent judges who highlighted Atradius’s use of digitalization and AI to improve underwriting speed, consistency, and risk outcomes. Judges also cited the company’s global footprint and digital capabilities, supporting more than 2.3 trillion dollars in trade annually. Automated AI driven processes now cover over 70 percent of applications, strengthening risk insight and reducing errors.

The awards were hosted by Trade, Treasury and Payments in partnership with the Bankers Association for Finance and Trade during the BAFT International Trade and Payment Conference in Jersey City, New Jersey. The program received more than 100 nominations from 85 countries and was designed to recognize organizations advancing a faster, fairer, and more inclusive global trade system.

North America President Gordon Cessford attended the event alongside Vice President Carlo Carlini, Vice President Nikki Kastanakis, Head of Marketing and Strategy Valerio Mangano, and Senior Manager Ana Mastoros. The team accepted the award on behalf of the global Atradius organization.
